David Myo's home is located at the remote and quiet countryside of Upper Austria. The dream of making aesthetic pipes grew over the years. Since childhood he was attracted by the hidden nature of things which are only accessible to attentive observers.

In his twenties he was attracted by the Japanese Swordsmanship and Zen, where the name MYO originated. Myo describes the unique individual expressiveness of a person´s creativity. David Myo's passion for music and his love for horses constitute the counterbalance to his otherwise contemplative nature. This is where the inspiration for his pipes come from. They are always an expression of David Myo.
